To truly appreciate this, you have to know that every morning after Ian leaves Max tells me he went to do work at 'the building' in Busy Busy Town, which is what he calls the Pentagon (which we pointed out to him as the building where Daddy works like they do in Busy Busy Town when we drove by recently).
This morning, Max said he wanted to stay with 'my mommy' instead of going to Miss Maria's. I said he had to go because mommy had to go to work. He said 'mommy doesn't WORK!' like it was the most ridiculous thing ever. I said 'mommy works so we can have money to buy things.' And he said 'mommy doesn't do MONEY' and then laughed hysterically.
Apparently, Ian works in the building in busy busy town. Me? I make pancakes, do laundry, and generally run around like a frazzled moma cat.
