This may be my new favorite monument. It's an island in the Potomac, across from Georgetown, and has a couple miles of trails and a pretty monument to Teddy Roosevelt. Saturday morning was gorgeous, so we headed out for a morning hike. Max walked about half the way and strollered the rest. He liked seeing the marsh and the 'ocean.' It was neat, definitely on our go-back-in-good-weather list. Oh, and notice the matching outfits. SO stinking cute!
