We headed to National Harbor to do the Children's Museum this weekend. While it left something to be desired, they did absolutely nail designing an indoor playground for toddlers. Max had a ball!
Over by the fire truck, there were bunk beds for the firemen!
There were ramps to push cars and trucks up and let slide down. We were very into pushing the fire truck both ways.
Evelyn was not impressed.

Some sort of crazy kid radar went off, and Max knew instantly when Elmo arrived on the other side of the museum from where we were, hidden behind a wall. Max ran right up to Elmo and said 'Elmo will you give me a hug?' Elmo did, and Max was thrilled!
Lots of fun climbing on an old-time car.
And we loved the play kitchen!
