Ian judged a moot court competition Saturday, so the kids and I hit the zoo. We saw almost the whole thing. It was quite the day! Evelyn rocked her new shades for the first time.

The meerkats kept running right up to Max and then standing up. He was having hysterical giggling fits and we stayed there for quite a while.
Max had lots of fun crawling on the big rocks by the leopards. He also liked crawling on the animal statues throughout the zoo.

The serious faces Max makes on merry-go-rounds crack me up. He is so intently focused on taking it all in that he gets a very somber look. He was glowing when the ride stopped. He loved riding on a monkey and listening to 'children's music.'
