We went on a LONG journey (1.5 miles) to the forest on Sunday to go 'hunting for things.' It was a grand adventure and a good excuse for a walk!
Max went through the secret tunnel formed when this tree fell across the trail, while the grown ups and Evelyn had to walk around. It was way cool!
We met a girl named Emma who was throwing rocks in the river. She invited Max down to throw them with her. She gave him a rock that would 'keep him safe,' and the whole way home he talked about his 'special secret rock from my friend Emma.' So sweet!
