School's Out for Summer!

Today was the last day of Social Skills.  They talked about what makes them mad, and what they can do to make themselves feel happy again when they are mad.  Miss Kristen says that Max is very, very advanced in his 'reading' comprehension skills.  She said he always has an answer to her questions about stories, is able to make inferences, and refers to books they've read before in class when framing his answers.  She said his memory and observation skills are very good, as is his self control.  So proud of our little guy!

 So proud, in fact, that I took Max on a super-special ice cream date to Baskin Robbins to celebrate the last day of school (Tricia, you may now refer to me as Mrs. Latta - ha!).  He got to pick his ice cream, and picked vanilla and strawberry.
