It was a wet and rainy day, so we headed back to Black Mountain to get out of the house for a bit. After a pizza lunch, the sky cleared and we paid a short visit to the caboose.
It had poured so much that morning that most of the local celebrations were canceled. We turned lemons into lemonade (or kazoos into a marching band, in this case...) and had our own parade. It was fun because everyone had a role. Max was the grand marshall, Syd was the queen, Mom was the princess, Dad was the paparazzi/Security, Parrish was the trombone player, Tricia was the person with the baton, and Steve and Evelyn were a float. What a site we made!
